Templeton Lottery Winner Takes Home $650,000 Cash Before Taxes

A Templeton resident is celebrating a $1 million lottery win after hitting the jackpot on a Massachusetts State Lottery scratch ticket.

Robert Archambault won the top prize in the Lottery’s “100X” instant ticket game. Instead of taking the full prize over time, he chose the cash option and received $650,000 before taxes.

The winning ticket was purchased at Village Liquors & Mini Mart on Elm Street in Templeton.

A nice bonus for the retailer:

  • The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the $1 million winning ticket.

Archambault’s big win adds another exciting Massachusetts Lottery success story, all from a scratch ticket bought locally.
