Two Acadiana Powerball Players Win $100,000 Each in Recent Drawings

Two lucky Powerball players in Acadiana, Louisiana, are celebrating $100,000 wins after matching four numbers plus the Powerball in recent drawings.

One winning ticket was sold at the More 4 Less Gold convenience store on Ridge Road during Saturday's drawing, and the other was purchased at Landry’s Meat and Grocery on Catahoula Hwy. in St. Martinville for Tuesday's drawing.

Although the jackpot remained unclaimed, it has now reached an estimated $1.2 billion, with a cash option of $551.7 million.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 4. Will someone claim the massive jackpot next time?
