Mass Cash Winners Take Home $100,000 in Thursday Drawings

Two lucky Massachusetts lottery players scored big Thursday, each landing a $100,000 “Mass Cash” prize — and one winning ticket came from a 24-hour convenience store.

? The winning tickets matched all five numbers in the day’s two separate “Mass Cash” drawings.

  • Midday numbers: 1, 16, 20, 27, 28
  • Evening numbers: 9, 11, 20, 22, 25

One jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven in Peabody, while the second came from Rusty Lantern Market, a 24/7 store in Brockton.

“Mass Cash” gives players two chances to win every day. Tickets cost just $1, and players pick five numbers from 1 to 35 for a shot at the game’s $100,000 top prize.

? Thursday turned into a lucky day across the state overall, with more than 500 prizes worth $600 or more either won or claimed in Massachusetts. Boston led the way with 57 big-winning tickets, followed by Worcester with 16 and Springfield with four.

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of prizes over $600, keeping track of the state’s latest big winners.

So far in 2026, the biggest prize claimed in Massachusetts was a massive $25 million payout from a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” scratch ticket sold at a Cumberland Farms in Turners Falls.
