Two lucky tickets sold in New Jersey wins big prize

Two lucky Mega Millions ticket sold in New Jersey. Both the lucky tickets matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Gold megaball number winning $10,000 prize. 

The winning tickets were purchased for the May 17 Mega Millions drawing. One of the winner purchased the ticket with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $40,000.

The Megaplier winning ticket was purchased at Jackpocket on Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, whereas the $10,000 winning ticket was purchased at E & M Deli on Somerset Street in Raritan.

According to the officials, in addition to the third-tier prize ticket, there were 18 other players matched four of the five white ball numbers making $500 each. Three of the tickets were purchased with Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $2,000.

Moreover, 21,918 New Jersey players took home $110,728 in prizes ranging $2 to $800.

The winning numbers for May 17 Mega Millions drawing were 07, 21, 24, 41 and 64. The Gold megaball number was 24 with the Megaplier of 4X.
