Two local lottery players win more than $5,000 in extra Christmas cash

Two lucky Natchez residents won Mississippi Lottery’s Cash 4 tickets worth more than $5,000 collectively by matching four winning numbers.

The first resident won $3,100 on a CASH 4 ticket and did not purchase the Fireball for a chance at extra winnings.

The winning ticket was sold at Bluesky Store #511, on John R. Junkin Drive in Natchez. The store will receive a bonus of $300 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

The second ticket was purchased by a woman from Bluesky Store #507, on North Shields Lane in Natchez which was worth $2,700. The store will receive a bonus of $200 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

The Mississippi State Lottery is a lottery authorized by the Alyce G. Clarke Mississippi Lottery Law in 2018.

Unlike most U.S. lotteries, the minimum age to buy tickets is 21, the same as neighboring Louisiana, Arizona and Iowa.
