Two winning Mega Millions tickets worth $40,000 each were sold in Louisiana for Friday night's Mega Millions Lottery game.

The winning tickets were sold at West Metairie Shell in Metairie, Louisiana and at Food N Fun on Lewis Street in New Iberia, Louisiana. The store will receive bonus of $400 each for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning tickets matched four white balls and had the Megaplier option as part of their ticket.

Players who have the winning tickets are encouraged to sign the back for their own safety and security.

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
