The winning ticket was sold at Spencer's Express in North Chesterfield. The store will receive a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

"I convinced him to play," Gomez's daughter told officials. "He handed me some money, and I bought the tickets."

With the winning amount the winner plans of taking care of his family and potentially doing some traveling.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
