Waldorf Retailer Sells $1,540,419 Winning FAST PLAY Hit The Jackpot Ticket

A winning Maryland Lottery's Fast Play Lottery ticket worth $1,540,419 was sold in Waldorf on Tuesday, Jan. 2 drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold in US Fuel located at 2050 Crain Highway in Waldorf. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. FAST PLAY winners have 182 days from the date the ticket was sold to claim prizes.

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) is an independent agency of the Maryland government.

The Lottery offers 10 draw games, instant FAST PLAY games and instant scratch-off tickets.

The minimum age to buy Maryland Lottery tickets is 18; and casino patrons must be at least 21.
