$1 million Powerball ticket sold to tourist at 7-Eleven in Fort Mill

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Fort mill for Tuesday night’s drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on Highway 160. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

Mouine Baba, who runs the 7-Eleven store that sold the winning ticket, said the win has been good for business. Before that, the store’s largest win was just $10,000.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
