$1M Powerball Win From Virginia Lottery Celebrated By Reston Couple

A lucky couple from Reston won a whopping sum of $1 million playing Powerball lottery game in November 12 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 2303 Soapstone Drive in Reston. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning couple matched the first five winning numbers in the drawing and plans to use the money to put their children through college and then possibly take a vacation.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
