Orlando resident wins $10 million in Powerball Double Play drawing

According to the Florida Lottery officials, a 61 years opd retiree from Orlando scooped a life changing $10 million prize in Powerball Double Play.

Manuel Sanchez-Velasco's purchased the life changing ticket for January 1 drawing. The lucky ticket matched all five white ball numbers and the Double Play Red Powerball number to win the top prize. 

The 61 years old man purchased the winning ticket from the 7-Eleven on North Semoran Boulevard in Orlando. 

Powerball lottery draw is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET. The ticket for the game cost $2 per play slip. Player can add the powerplay option on their ticket for extra $1, which multiplies the non-jackpot prizes upto 10 times.
