If you bought a Powerball ticket in Cary over the weekend, it’s time to check your numbers.

A ticket sold at at Rose Mart on Northwest Maynard Road in Cary won $50,000 in Saturday night’s drawing, the North Carolina Education Lottery said.

The lucky ticket matched the numbers on four white balls as well as the red Powerball.

No one won the Powerball jackpot, which sits at $164 ahead of Monday night’s drawing. The odds of winning the big jackpot are 1 in 292 million.

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize.
