A lucky Graham guy wins $1 million recently in a lottery game

South Carolina man is the lucky winner of a $1 million lottery prize after buying a ticket in Graham.

Justin Steen, of Cassat, South Carolina, bought a $10 scratch-off from the Graham Mart on South Main Street and walked away with the $1 million prize.

Steen came to lottery headquarters on Wednesday and chose the lump sump reward of $600,000. He took home $429,003 after taxes.

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize.
