Alberta Man Left Speechless by $1.67M Lottery Win at Local Store

An Alberta man, Giuseppe Bruno, and his wife were taken by complete surprise when they discovered they had won an astonishing $1,666,666.70 in a lottery.

While spending time with his grandchildren, Bruno decided to check his lottery tickets, and the massive win appeared on his phone screen, prompting an ecstatic reaction.

The winning ticket was purchased from Mother Hubbard’s Foodstuffs at 7923 106th Avenue NW in Edmonton. 

"I saw the amount and called for my wife," Bruno chuckled. "We were both stunned!" Overwhelmed with disbelief, Bruno sought confirmation from his children to verify the ticket.

 "We couldn't believe it was real," Bruno expressed with laughter. "It's an incredibly surreal and thrilling experience!"
