Time Running Out: $100,000 Unclaimed Powerball Ticket in Allegheny County Nearing Expiry

An unclaimed lottery ticket worth $100,000, sold in Allegheny County, is nearing its expiration date, prompting Pennsylvania Lottery officials to urge the winner to come forward before the looming deadline.

The Powerball ticket, purchased at Cash Market on Fourth Avenue in Coraopolis for the December 17, 2022 drawing, matched four of the five white balls (33, 56, 64, 66, 68) and the red Powerball (12).

The purchaser opted for the Power Play option, doubling the prize from $50,000 to $100,000.

The ticket must be claimed by December 17, 2023, as stated by lottery officials. Unclaimed prizes in Pennsylvania are utilized to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians, as mandated by law.

Unlike some lotteries with shorter claim periods, Pennsylvania Lottery draw game prizes can be claimed within a year from the drawing date on any business day.
