Two Powerball tickets, each winning the third prize worth $50,000, were purchased in Forest Hills and Schenectady during the Saturday, December 9 Powerball drawing, as per the New York Lottery announcement.

The winning ticket sold in Forest Hills originated from Forest Hills Deli Bagel on Queens Boulevard, while the winning ticket in Schenectady was bought at Bourbon Street Grill on Central Avenue.

For the third prize, a ticket needs to match four numbers alongside the Powerball. The drawn numbers were 5, 25, 26, 40, 60, with the Powerball number 1.
