Humble resident won $1 million off of Powerball lottery ticket

A lucky Humble resident won a whopping sum of $1 million from Powerball ticket for the drawing on October 29.

The winning ticket was sold at a Kroger on Lake Houston Parkway in the city of Humble. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 19-31-40-46-57 and Powerball number 23. The ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn, but not the red Powerball number.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The minimum Powerball bet is $2. In each game, players select five numbers from a set of 69 white balls and one number from 26 red Powerballs, the red ball number can be the same as one of the white balls.
