Lucky NC woman wins Cash 5 jackpot worth $133k

A lucky woman from North Carolina named Kemisha Vandunk won a whopping sum of $133,315 playing North Carolina Education Lottery's Cash 5 game.

The winning ticket was purchased from the Short Stop in Spring Lake to grab a coffee. The store will receive a bonus of $100 for selling the winning ticket. 

Vandunk told lottery officials, “It was just like any normal day and then boom."

At first she thought she has only won $1,000 but when she visited the lottery headquarters, she was amazed to know that she has won a lot more. After state and federal taxes she took home $95,321.

He shared the he plans to use a part of her winnings for her retirement and also fund her family business.
