In Silver Spring, Maryland, a fortunate Powerball player has won $50,000 from Wednesday's drawing, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Giant Store #354 on East West Highway in Silver Spring.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 21, 26, 30, 45, and 47, with a Powerball of 23 and a Power Play multiplier of 3.

Prizes exceeding $25,000 can be redeemed by mail or in person at the Maryland Lottery headquarters, but winners must schedule an appointment in advance as walk-ins are not allowed. The winner has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize money.
