Maryland Lottery Player Wins $50,000 at Giant in Columbia

In Howard County, Maryland, a lottery player has won $50,000 by matching five out of six numbers in the recent Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at the Giant located at 7200 Cradlerock Way in Columbia. The winning numbers were 16, 18, 33, 37, and 50, with the Powerball being 8 and a Power Play multiplier of 2.

Maryland Lottery officials are reminding all winners to immediately sign the back of their tickets and store them in a safe place. Winners have up to 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
