Time frozen for William Werth after he found $250,000 Lotto Max lottery ticket

William Werth was excited when he thought he'd actually won $250 from his Lotto Max ticket. But when he found that he had actually won $250,000, he was shocked in joy after May 4 Lotto Max extra draw. 

Mr. Werth check his lucky ticket online through the Lotto App. After he found the winning prize he was left in shock. 

"Time Froze! After I discovered the winning prize." He said in a press release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation. "I was in my car when I checked my numbers, so I held on to my ticket and went straight home to hide it."

He said  to the officials that he is going to invest his winning money for a bright future. 

Mr. Werth purchased his lucky winning extra ticket at Red River Co-op, located at 1850 Brookside Blvd in Winnipeg.

He won $250,000 by matching all seven extra numbers of Lotto Max lottery on May 4 drawing.
