Unclaimed $100K Powerball Prize in North Carolina to Expire Soon

Lottery officials in North Carolina have announced that a winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold at the Lake Wylie Mini Mart in Gastonia during the Oct. 5 drawing, which has not yet claimed.

The ticket matched four of the white balls and the red Powerball number, which were 26, 30, 33, 37, 62, and 6.

However, the winner has not claimed their prize yet, and if they don't do so by April 4, the prize money will be lost.

Lottery officials are hoping that the ticket holder will come forward before the deadline.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes, and the ticket must be taken to the lottery headquarters in Raleigh if the prize money is above a certain threshold.
